Rescue Me ID: 16-02-09-00778Ally (female)

Great Pyrenees Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Cats, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Vaccinations Current

Young female Anatolian/Great Pyr mix, 130 lbs. Not trained as a livestock guardian, so needs to be adopted as a family pet. Very loving towards people and great in the house. She has enjoyed playing with larger size dogs, but is selective and does not like to share food with other canines. She is also spayed and UTD with her shots, healthy, crate trained, and has beautiful coat and striking good looks. No cats, as they are too tempting to chase, so perhaps best as the only animal in the home. Fenced yard is required and home check too. If interested please research the characteristics of this breed since they are very independent. This can ... (Read More)be a positive trait for some, and less desired for others. Also please provide some information about you, your home and family, other pets, yard, and your understanding about the breed. Currently fostered in southern Oregon but transport assistance to another location is possible. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-02-05-00661Boomer (male)

Great Pyrenees Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Heartworm Positive

Boomer is a 145-pound, approximately 5 year old lump of love! He is very friendly, loves affection and brushing. He was adopted last year from rescue and likes his new home; however, his new canine friends are not very accepting. He likes to have his own food bowl, but otherwise does not show aggression toward people or non-canines. We are unsure about his exposure and interactions with children but he loves his adult owners. Very food motivated and easy to train. He had adult heartworm but has been undergoing treatment with good success and no obvious effects. He likes to be outside and would thrive on a farm.

Great Pyrenees Mix    Age: Adult

Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

'Bo' is a Great Pyrenees neutered male that we rescued in 2013; he's approximately 7-8 years of age and weighs 118 lbs. He has proven to be an excellent working dog, living with alpacas most of his life. He had his annual wellness check at the Animal Hospital of Pasco (AHOP) on August 18, 2015, including his rabies vaccination and DA2P/CPV shot. Documentation of such will be provided to the new owner. He was most recently groomed on August 28, 2015 at Petsmart. Bo 'loves his lovin's' i.e. hugs, scratching, brushing, etc., and will bond with owners when treated daily to lots of hands-on attention and love. He's a 'big teddy bear' with a ...
