Rescue Me ID: 16-08-08-00142Atticus (male)

Great Pyrenees Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered

Atticus is a sweet, loving boy needing a new family. Atticus is looking for an INDOOR home. He is not a livestock guardian dog, he is not good with farm animals or cats but wonderful with other dogs and all people. He loves to get attention and go on walks (he could use some training on pulling sometimes though). He loves to lounge on the couch with his people and spend time sunning on the back deck. Please email wohenrycat@aol.com if you would like more information on adopting Atticus. He is around 5 years old, 75lbs, neutered and up to date on vaccines.

Rescue Me ID: 16-07-29-00308Lilly (female)

Great Pyrenees    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Lilly is a gorgeous Pyrenees, no papers, that came from working parents a few hours from us. She is about 8 months old, has good instincts but still has too much puppy energy to be trusted alone with livestock. She needs some work, but she is a great dog that learns quickly. She's been exposed to cattle, sheep, ducks, guineas, chickens, turkeys, pigs, other dogs, and cats. Would not recommend this girl to be kept as a house pet since she is not house trained and would not be content. This breed is known for barking at night, being destructive with objects, growing to over 100lbs, and taking 2-3 years to grow out of puppyhood. Please research ... (Read More)the breed before adopting. Lilly would make a great all-farm guardian, but still needs stock training, especially with cats and poultry. (Less)
