Great Pyrenees Mix    Age: Adult

Meet Princess. She's estimated at 6 to 7 years old. She weighs about 68-70 pounds. She is very sweet and affectionate. She was rescued from ACS a kill shelter in San Antonio, TX 5 years ago and was adopted. Everyone thought she had a fairytale ending. However, Princess never even had a new beginning. Her adopter put her in a backyard and that is where she stayed for 5 years. That's right 5 years with no attention. 5 years with no doggy friends or even dog toys. The children from her adopted family would go play with her once in a while but that's ALL she had. I guess that's why she loves kids so much. When I recently rescued Princess from ... (Read More)her abusive owners I found her in the backyard with a choke chain on her neck that was attached to a heavy board. The owners told me she keeps getting out. In the back yard the only shade and covering she has is a tree. There isn't even a dog house. Princess greeted me with a slight tail wag and was unsure why I was there. When I saw her I said 'It's time for you to treated like a real Princess'. She loves people. She bonded to me immediately. She loves kids. She walks fairly well on a leash. She is calm but at the same time loves to play. She is not a fan of cats. At this time needs to be an only dog because hasn't been around dogs would need to settled in a home and be 'The Princess'. She has a great love for humans. She loves to snuggle and does that husky talk. I think it's time for Princess to get her fairy tale'|happy ever after ending.     We're looking for a good home for our 10 month old Anatolian Shepard & Great Pyreness Mix. We got her originally as a guard dog and for the kids but with work schedules changing we won't be able to take care of her anymore . She's great around my 3 year old and lets him lay on her and she's such a friendly and sweet dog. She's identical to what hey say her breed is online as far as loving her family and would be a good house dog win a yard or a good farm dog. She's up to date with all of her shots, potty trained and were just asking for a $50 rehoming fee. Negotiable as long as we can verify a great home for her.

Cupcake is a 2 year old non-registered Great Pyrenees. She is very sweet and loves to be petted and walked. She is in a yard with a chain link fence that she can easily climb if she hears a loud noise. She is always anxious to jump back in the pickup for her ride home when she is located. Everyone brags on how sweet she is when they find her and call. She no longer chews on woodwork but will dig in the dirt occasionally. She would love to be a house dog but we have not house trained her. She has a chip but I have not renewed her membership which came due in June.

My name is Rusty and I am waiting anxiously for you to adopt me. I'm a young Collie Great Pyrenees mix of about nine months old. I was found wandering around on a very busy highway. Thankfully someone cared enough to pick me up. And the rest is history as they say. I'm kind of a big fuzzy teddy bear. I love to have someone pet me and I will lay my head in your lap so you can. But, since I am a young boy who really does like to play I will need an in-home dog buddy to play with. And some good kibble. I LOVE to eat! So what are you waiting for? You need to start filling out an application so you can meet me. Applications can be ... (Read More)found at www.texascollierescue.org. Can't wait to hear from you! Rusty Rusty is a gorgeous dog. Just a youngster. And he was found going back and forth over a busy highway. We were notified of him and took him into rescue. He has beautiful golden eyes and great coloring. His pictures don't do him justice. He is a big boy and loves attention. Where he came from he wasn't probably getting much. He likes to lay his head in your lap or come and stand really close to you. He just wants to be near someone. But he is young and will need a playmate. Rusty is ready to go at any time. (Less)

Many times I look up to see him just chillin' in his puppy pool. He is working on house training and is completely crate trained. He runs to his 'room' (crate) all on his own. He also makes for a big ol snuggle bear. He is in Waco, Tx and will need to be adopted nearby. I will not transport him.

RED ALERT!!! My name is Big Rudy and I am ready for adoption! I am a very friendly Collie/Great Pyrenees mix. And I would love to be your next family member and playmate for any other canine kids you might have. Let me tell you about me. My beginnings weren't too great. I was living in a truck yard around San Antonio, Texas. And the truck yard was moving. Some very nice people brought me to the rescue in Houston from the other side of San Antonio. They didn't want to send me to a shelter. And I'm very thankful they didn't. Those places are not very good for us. So now life is so much better, but I would love to have my own home and ... (Read More)family. I love to run and play a lot. Little dogs, big dogs, it doesn't matter. I just like to play and always have a smile on my face since life is better than it was. Let's meet! Go to www.texascollierescue.org and fill out an application so we can get together. Can't Wait!! Big Rudy Big Rudy is a great dog. He's friendly, loves to play, and is an affectionate boy. And a really handsome guy with big golden eyes. But, he does need a playmate. He will play with any of the dogs, big or little. And he loves to run. As Rudy told you he was living in a truck yard that was moving. One of the employees did not want to take him to a shelter. Since the San Antonio shelter would put him down if not adopted. Her and her husband drove him to us which says a lot about them since it was not a short drive. You never would have known he had been living outside. Rudy has not had an accident in the house since he's been here. He settled in pretty quick. So he is house-trained and crate-trained and ready for his new home. Go to our website www.texascollierescue .org and fill out an application if you are interested in Big Rudy. (Less)

If you are wanting a gorgeous, long haired fluffy boy, please give our Patches the opportunity to win your heart. Great Pyrenees Mix    Age: Puppy

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Look at those beautiful grey/blue eyes!! They will mesmerize. Say hello to Zelda, she is a year old heeler/lab/pyr mix. She is a shy girl but is confident and playful with other dogs. She shows her protective heeler personality when she barks at the other dogs for playing too rough. She needs some lead work but she does make it funny with a sit-walk thing she does. Very sweet girl. If you are interested in learning more about Zelda, contact Bark0089@gmail.com.
