Rescue Me ID: 16-08-13-00202Quincy (male)
Up for adoption: Quincy. This gorgeous boy can be adopted in Texas and New England. Quincy maybe a Yellow Lab/Great Pyrenees mix. We don't DNA test the dogs (nor do we care, we just pull them because they're nice sweet dogs!) but he has that light fluffy fur and he also had back dew claws which were removed when he was neutered because the vet was concerned he may snag them on something. He's about 3 years old and weighs about 73 lbs, but he could definitely fill out some more to near 90-100 lbs. Quincy is living in a foster home with kids and other dogs and is flourishing, he loves them. Quincy loves to sit next to his foster family while they work, read, and watch tv. He walks well on leash too, bonus! He is neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, crate trained and housebroken. Apply at www.luckylabrescue.com for this beautiful boy! He's a true gem! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-08-07-00184Quinn (male)
3.5 months old - Male - Little Pyrenees mix His distinguishing Pyrenees marking is his double dew claw on his back feet. His feet are small which suggests the mix in him is of a medium build at best. Quinn is a strikingly beautiful puppy. He loves people and gets along well with other dogs. He likes to have his own food bowl. Quinn loves to be picked and held and he is a very affectionate, playful and happy baby. He needs to be in a home where he will be adored and cherished.

Leo is fixed, chipped, utd with 2 puppy vaccines, and bordetella. He is such a fun puppy! He likes playing with big dogs and even more so LOVES playing in the water. Many times I look up to see him just chillin' in his puppy pool. He is working on house training and is completely crate trained. He runs to his 'room' (crate) all on his own. He also makes for a big ol snuggle bear. He is in Waco, Tx and will need to be adopted nearby. I will not transport him.

Animal ID: 385Big Rudy (male)
RED ALERT!!! My name is Big Rudy and I am ready for adoption! I am a very friendly Collie/Great Pyrenees mix. And I would love to be your next family member and playmate for any other canine kids you might have. Let me tell you about me. My beginnings weren't too great. I was living in a truck yard around San Antonio, Texas. And the truck yard was moving. Some very nice people brought me to the rescue in Houston from the other side of San Antonio. They didn't want to send me to a shelter. And I'm very thankful they didn't. Those places are not very good for us. So now life is so much better, but I would love to have my own home and family. I love to run and play a lot. Little dogs, big dogs, it doesn't matter. I just like to play and always have a smile on my face since life is better than it was. Let's meet! Go to www.texascollierescue.org and fill out an application so we can get together. Can't Wait!! Big Rudy Big Rudy is a great dog. He's friendly, loves to play, and is an affectionate boy. And a really handsome guy with big golden eyes. But, he does need a playmate. He will play with any of the dogs, big or little. And he loves to run. As Rudy told you he was living in a truck yard that was moving. One of the employees did not want to take him to a shelter. Since the San Antonio shelter would put him down if not adopted. Her and her husband drove him to us which says a lot about them since it was not a short drive. You never would have known he had been living outside. Rudy has not had an accident in the house since he's been here. He settled in pretty quick. So he is house-trained and crate-trained and ready for his new home. Go to our website www.texascollierescue .org and fill out an application if you are interested in Big Rudy. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-06-24-00105Jack (male)
Jack is in need of a new home. Jack is a 3 year old Great Pyrenees mix who wants to be the only pet in a home without children. He just loves his pack family so much and wants to protect them. He is a loyal forever friend who prefers to lounge around your home receiving lots of love and attention as much as possible. He is not a high energy dog, a simple 15 minute walk will suffice. He's great on his gentle lead collar and walking him is a dream now. We have put in a lot of time and energy to get him to walk well on his gentle lead collar and leash. He is completely house trained, has free range of the house when we are away and has never been destructive. He knows sit, stay, wait, eyes, and a few other commands. He's really a big love bug for his family and would make a loyal companion for a single person or family without kids. Jack weighs about 90 lbs, is current on all vaccines, on heart worm and flea preventative. His vet said he is in great health. Please contact me for more information about Jack. (Less)

Silver is a big lumbering baby. We love him but he is an escape artist, and as much as I try to keep him on the farm he jumps the fence. He comes back but I am afraid he will get shot. He is very loveable, and gets along very well with kids, dogs and cats.

Rescue Me ID: 15-06-29-00290Patches (male)
Patches is a half GreatPyr/half Saint Bernard that is approximately 1-2 years old. He came to us from a high kill shelter in Texas. He is a great, fun loving, young boy that is very smart and very well mannered. He loves playing with smaller dogs and loves to play tug of war. He is very gentle with the smaller dogs. He has now been neutered and is current on all shots and is heartworm negative. He weighs approximately 85 pounds and is full grown. He also is a very good indicator for protection. That is the great Pyr in him. He will bark when someone approaches that he does not know, not to be mean but to let you know someone new is around. If you are wanting a gorgeous, long haired fluffy boy, please give our Patches the opportunity to win your heart. In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5. This is due to the large size of Saint Bernards and the safety of your children. Our Saint Bernards are not aggressive or mean in any way, they can just knock down children easily. If you would like to visit Patches, please contact St. Cloud's Rescue at www.stcloudsrescue.org or call 1-469-952-3332 or 1-972-679-5319. The first step in adopting from St. Cloud's Rescue is to complete an application. The application may be found OUR WEBSITE (not petfinder.com) at www.stcloudsrescue.org. Please click on the application process, complete and then email it or fax it to us at 1-469-952-3331. Once the application has been sent please call us to confirm that we have received it. St.Cloud's Rescue maintains the right to deny applications to anyone for any reason we see fit. St. Cloud Rescue is a non-profit 501-c-3 organization. St. Clouds Rescue requires new owners to purchase a one year supply of heartworm preventative from us, which is at cost. We require a home visit prior to all placements. There is a $150.00 donation fee. All dogs adopted through St Clouds Rescue must be indoor pets. St. Bernards cannot tolerate the extreme Texas weather conditions. (Less)

Look at those beautiful grey/blue eyes!! They will mesmerize. Say hello to Zelda, she is a year old heeler/lab/pyr mix. She is a shy girl but is confident and playful with other dogs. She shows her protective heeler personality when she barks at the other dogs for playing too rough. She needs some lead work but she does make it funny with a sit-walk thing she does. Great Pyrenees Dogs can make good pets in Texas if they match your IifestyIe. The Great Pyrenees is a huge, fluffy herding dog. Independent and protective, the Great Pyrenees is devoted to its family and somewhat stubborn. Great Pyrenees need to be socialized with children as puppies. This breed is an imposing guardian but is gentle unless threatened or provoked. Great Pyrenees need large yards and are best suited to cold climates. Great Pyrenees are affectionate toward non-canine pets, especially cats!
