Butch's mom was a Red Heeler and his dad was a huge Great Pyrenees. What you see in the photo is shear fear. The day he was brought in he trotted in wagging his tail and very confident. Less than 24 hrs. later here he is too scared to even stand up. This baby is 5 months old and weighs over 60 pounds. He shivers and shakes and whines. A gentle giant of a dog. Butch was an owner surrender. His time is ticking and he needs a savior very, very quickly. He is a puppy folks. Please help him. PLEASE!!!

Great Pyrenees & Shepherd Mix ~ Young ~ Female ~ Large~ located at the Carroll County Humane Society McKenzie, TN (West Tn) Maggie is a big bouncy and super friendly girl who was 6 months old as of Sept. 5th. Her mom is a Great Pyrenees who was one of the infamous 'free to a good home' and the people who took her were told the pooch was spayed. Then the pooch had puppies. Maggie is one of those puppies. Once the puppies were weaned, mom was given away and we can only hope that she did eventually get spayed. So, while we know who mom was, we have no clue on daddy but we are guessing shepherd? We do know that Maggie is very friendly, playful, has been aroud young children during visits and is good with them, will chase an outside cat in play but doesn't seem to be playing 'disembowel the kiitty' and interacts well with dogs. She is a big girl and will mature at close to 70 pounds probably. Maggie is heartworm negative and has been started on prevention and is current on her vaccines. She will be spayed prior to adoption. Please come visit this super friendly and beautiful big girl today! (Less)
