This sweet boy is a LARGE breed puppy...he is over 10 pounds at the tender age of 6 weeks! His mom is a Great Pyrenees and dad is unknown. He and his brothers all have double dew claws on their rear feet which is indicative of the Pyrenees breed. They are being crate trained at this time, eating puppy food and have been vaccinated and wormed. They are healthy, happy little boys! This pup has a little brown masking on his face and on one ear. He will be ready for adoption when he turns 8 weeks old on December 19th. We take a $50 refundable deposit for you to get him neutered. Or, if you are okay with him getting neutered at 8 weeks (or at time of adoption) we will do that here before you get him. We are very used to helping adopters find animal transport to their location from Tennessee. We get the required health certificates and other items needed to make that happen. Please contact us about this young man or any of his brothers. (Less)

Caroline adores people! She's as sweet as they come. She is fearful of other dogs so at this time we are unable to say whether or not she will get along with another dog. Unknown yet about cats also. She would make a great companion for a single person or a family with children.

|Rescue Me ID: 14-10-30-00010Tegan (female)|
[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] Tegan is a 5 year old chow/great pyerenees mix. She is a very mellow laid back dog, does not jump up on people and doesn't bark a lot. She has mild incontinence, will need to be medicated but even if not medicated only happens every so often. She is coming from a home where she has been since she was a puppy. She has been evaluated by dog trainers and has been trained extensively. She is excellent at playing chuckit (fetch) and is extremely focused on the ball. She needs to play fetch at least once a day, but after she does that she is mellow, chill and happy. She comes from a house with a small child and has never acted aggressively towards that child. She does have a prey drive and has been known to chase and nip at joggers, so she will have to go to a home that can make accomodations for that. She recently bit a neighbor and they are insisting we get rid of her. Bite did not puncture the skin. Was a bruise and a scrape. We do not want to lose our baby but maybe someone can take her so we don't have to put her to sleep. Please help us. We will help in any way possible. (Less)

Great Pyrenees Dogs can make good pets in Tennessee if they match your IifestyIe. The Great Pyrenees is a huge, fluffy herding dog. Independent and protective, the Great Pyrenees is devoted to its family and somewhat stubborn. Great Pyrenees need to be socialized with children as puppies. This breed is an imposing guardian but is gentle unless threatened or provoked. Great Pyrenees need large yards and are best suited to cold climates. Great Pyrenees are affectionate toward non-canine pets, especially cats!
