Rescue Me ID: 14-10-30-00010Tegan (female)
[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] Tegan is a 5 year old chow/great pyerenees mix. She is a very mellow laid back dog, does not jump up on people and doesn't bark a lot. She has mild incontinence, will need to be medicated but even if not medicated only happens every so often. She is coming from a home where she has been since she was a puppy. She has been evaluated by dog trainers and has been trained extensively. She is excellent at playing chuckit (fetch) and is extremely focused on the ball. She needs to play fetch at least once a day, but after she does that she is mellow, chill and happy. She comes from a house with a small child and has never acted aggressively towards that child. She does have a prey drive and has been known to chase and nip at joggers, so she will have to go to a home that can make accomodations for that. She recently bit a neighbor and they are insisting we get rid of her. Bite did not puncture the skin. Was a bruise and a scrape. We do not want to lose our baby but maybe someone can take her so we don't have to put her to sleep. Please help us. We will help in any way possible. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-10-14-00012Alex (male)
Alex is a healthy male 5 years old. My brother has 130 acres with some chickens and he does a great job protecting them along with another great pyrenees. Alex is not aggressive with strangers but it does take a few times seeing him before he is friendly; which I think is a good quality. My brother has serious health issues which are making it hard to take care of these sweet dogs. No one in our family has a yard large enough for him. Thank you

Rescue Me ID: 14-09-28-00131Autumn (female)
Autumn is a beautiful young girl at about a year old. She is a loving young lady who wants to please and is very affectionate. About a month ago, she was brought into our rescue with a broken leg (three places on her front femur), 50% underweight, filled with worms and with a coat so matted that she had to be shaved all the way down. Our vets agreed that, since the break was not new enough to be set, it would heal the remainder of the way on its own, but she would need worming, a lot of nutrition, love, monitoring and gentle exercise to heal. Here we are a month into treatment and she is gaining weight, beginning to put a little weight on her front leg again, and her coat is growing back quite well. She is going to make a wonderful addition to any family that wants a wonderful dog that loves everyone. She will be between 90 and 100 pounds when she is fully back to health. (Less)

Needs a home that has a lot of land for him to run. He shows a herding instinct, and has quite a bit of energy. Would be great on a farm where he is not in danger of traffic. We love him a lot, but we just do not have the accommodations he requires. Please adopt him!
