Rescue Me ID: 17-09-09-00344Cracker (male)

Great Pyrenees    Age: Young Adult

Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Cracker was my daughter's Great Pyrenees. She (and he) were in an abusive situation and moved in with me just under 2 years ago. She died last November. He is unstable in temperament: normally quite loving and getting along fine with my other dog and 3 cats. Sometimes, however, he becomes frighteningly aggressive. Tonight he attacked me when I wouldn't let him take the pillow I was lying on. This is a first. I am afraid of him and feel he probably needs a home where he can be outside and get plenty of exercise. He is a good dog and it hurts me to give him up, but I don't know what else to do.

It's me Sherman or as the TVGRR folks call me...'Nosy Britches.' I am a large 5 mth. old boy who is a diamond in the 'Ruff'. Yes, I need work cause it is so hard for me to concentrate on anything for very long. I am a Golden Retriever Mix with most likely Great Pyrenees and Anatolian....I just say I am cute and got big feet. I am ready to be large and in charge of your house and family. By the time you get to meet me, I hope to understand walking on a leash better and that I really, really have to listen so I get treats. I am up to date on shots and I am neutered.

Great Pyrenees Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Heartworm Positive

Jake was left at his place, when his owners were took to jail. After much vetting we decided to take him into our rescue. He has been an amazing addition. Even though he is Heartworm positive, he seems to really enjoy life. He is very playful, but laid back kind of dude too. He seems ok with other dogs, and not too bad with cats. I would say just curious. He is 2 years old, UTD on his shots, microchipped, HW+ (will go with meds if still on them when he is adopted.) He loves his stuff toys and does not tear them up. He does hate cars and trucks. Not to ride in them. Just loves barking and chasing them.
