    Jake was left at his place, when his owners were took to jail. After much vetting we decided to take him into our rescue. He has been an amazing addition. Even though he is Heartworm positive, he seems to really enjoy life. He is very playful, but laid back kind of dude too. He seems ok with other dogs, and not too bad with cats. I would say just curious. He is 2 years old, UTD on his shots, microchipped, HW+ (will go with meds if still on them when he is adopted.) He loves his stuff toys and does not tear them up. He does hate cars and trucks. Not to ride in them. Just loves barking and chasing them.

    Great Pyrenees Dogs can make good pets in Tennessee if they match your IifestyIe. The Great Pyrenees is a huge, fluffy herding dog. Independent and protective, the Great Pyrenees is devoted to its family and somewhat stubborn. Great Pyrenees need to be socialized with children as puppies. This breed is an imposing guardian but is gentle unless threatened or provoked. Great Pyrenees need large yards and are best suited to cold climates. Great Pyrenees are affectionate toward non-canine pets, especially cats!
