|Rescue Me ID: 15-06-25-00584Sunny (female)|
Dear Sweet Sunny is a stunning 4yo Great Pyrenees who is seeking a quiet home to settle down in. Sunny really wants to be loved and be able to trust someone. She needs someone who will be patient with her, not to mention her needs for lots and lots of belly rubs, pats on the head and nose boops. Sunny came to us with Heartworms, but she has been treated and is now up to date on shots, Microchipped and is looking for several things with her new home.. 1) Peace and quiet. She likes to chew her bones in peace, so if your house has a revolving door and a crazy atmosphere, Sunnyis not the dog for you. 2) Firm boundaries. Sunny is a pyr, which means she's stubborn and can be protective of who she deems worthy of being in her flock. This means that the best home for her will be experienced pyr owners who know and understand the breed, as well as how to work with her and her 'stranger danger' with those she is unfamiliar with. As a side note, Pupperoni works wonders with this particular quirk. 3) Lifelong commitment. Sunny has been bounced around a bit, and she would like her next move to be her final move. 4) Firm commitment to leash walking or a fenced in yard. Sunny is great on a leash, but if you have a fenced in yard, she would love to be able to guard your perimeter and just laze about. Sunny is an amazing dog and would be a fabulous addition to the right family. If interested in meeting Wonderful Sunny, please contact Lynn at 412-526-1156 or The Great Pyrenees Club of Western Pennsylvania Rescue - thur www.swpapyr.org, or respond by e-mail --Sunny will LOVE you for it! We will also need you to fill out our adoption survey - Sunny will need an above ground fence for safe play and exercise. We are looking for homes in the surrounding Pittsburgh area. |Rescue Me ID: 15-06-02-00333Buster-Henry (male)|
Meet Buster - Henry, a 3 year old Great Pyranese. He's a beautiful sweet boy who needs a family who has the time for him. He's a great young dog who could definitely use some training, but overall there are no real issues with him. He's lived in a home with children, dogs as well as 2 cats; so he's friendly with them all. He does bark and run after people, but he's doing it to say hello and has no ill intentions to anyone. He's also pretty special in that he can actually climb fences; therefore, he'd need a home with a certain type of fence - but his owners have a harness for him that goes around his back side that will prevent him from climbing over, so there are answers to his escaping. He's a sweet boy that could use some consistency in his life and someone committed to working with him so he can be the best he can be -- you would be adding a great new addition to your family with Buster-Henry. Please call Lisa at 215.321.4673 or email email@example.com to discuss Buster - Henry and meeting him. Thank you for your support! (Less)
