But lovable he is - he is happy-go-lucky, gentle, and sweet - and gets along well with other dogs and people of all sizes and shapes. This is one happy boy! He is thrilled to be loved, is a champion leash walker, and loves to play. This boy LOVES his walks!     Great Pyrenees Dogs can make good pets in Pennsylvania if they match your IifestyIe. The Great Pyrenees is a huge, fluffy herding dog. Independent and protective, the Great Pyrenees is devoted to its family and somewhat stubborn. Great Pyrenees need to be socialized with children as puppies. This breed is an imposing guardian but is gentle unless threatened or provoked. Great Pyrenees need large yards and are best suited to cold climates. Great Pyrenees are affectionate toward non-canine pets, especially cats!
