tan/white-slender with long Pyr legs, narrow collie face.Rescued from the street 3 yrs ago at 7 mo.Not much interaction with other dogs, people,or car rides since puppy days.Had early shots but no updates.Very polite, patient with food and leash, rope attachment-Is mostly on gated porch or fenced outdoor pen.Housetrained but does like to chk wastebasket! No crate-likes blanket and large pillow which she will rearrange! Loves sun, snow and tug toys rather than ball.Would like her to have the chance for more exercise, swimming maybe, play with other dogs(my smaller dog ,who is much older, does not get along) She had separation anxiety at first but much better-would not trust her in house alone!Think she has a lot of potential-gentle,spirit but both breeds are high energy and a bit of independent stubbornness! Not sure what she would do with cats-likes to chase rabbits in yd and chickens next door if they dare come over! Think she would be ok with older child(because of her size)mostly does not jump up anymore unless excited -does like to play!Should have work to do or maybe run on treadmill! Does sit readily -likes to catch treat-still working on COME!(improved in past months)Very protective, wary of strangers-bark may seem aggressive but mostly anxious, fearful of unknown! She is not unwanted but deserves more than a little old lady can give her-also might be moving next yr.Who will accept this challenge? Help!(hopefully soon)THANK YOU (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 16-10-30-00325Blaze (male)|
Blaze is a 6 month old Pyrenees/Shepherd mix who weighs 50 pounds. This gorgeous guy loves to give kisses and spend his time with his foster family. He is doing well with the resident dog and is always eager to play. Blaze does good on leash, and is working hard with crate training and housebreaking. He is neutered, current with vaccinations, and fostered in Annville, PA. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all breed dog rescue. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $275 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $325 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all volunteer organization and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption. (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 16-05-30-00345Rosie (female)|
Rosie is a large, white female who has a large appetite and becomes aggressive regarding food. It would be best if she would be fed separate from other pets. She is dominant in this way. My family cannot afford to take care of Rosie as she was my daughter's dog and i cannot no longer take care of her due to my health and aging concerns. Rosie is a very sweet and loyal big girl who needs a good home and alot of love from the right family. Also, Rosie needs to have a large area to run in and she needs to be walked daily due to her high energy as I cannot do this at my age.

Independent and protective, the Great Pyrenees is devoted to its family and somewhat stubborn. Great Pyrenees need to be socialized with children as puppies. This breed is an imposing guardian but is gentle unless threatened or provoked. Great Pyrenees need large yards and are best suited to cold climates.
