Loves sun,snow and tug toys rather than ball.Would like her to have the chance for more exercise,swimming maybe,play with other dogs(my smaller dog ,who is much older, does not get along) She had separation anxiety at first but ... Independent and protective, the Great Pyrenees is devoted to its family and somewhat stubborn. Great Pyrenees need to be socialized with children as puppies. This breed is an imposing guardian but is gentle unless threatened or provoked. Great Pyrenees need large yards and are best suited to cold climates. Great Pyrenees are affectionate toward non-canine pets, especially cats!
