Animal ID: P42ACO-3/30/17Barley (male)

Great Pyrenees Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Barley, is just almost 2.5yrs old. He is fairly dominant over his other family dog members. He is the oldest, so that is typical in the breed and mix. He is Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd Mix (Is best guess, we know GP for certain). He is very tall, about waist height, he is also a Digger. This is NOT an apartment type dog and may not do well in city living. He will need room to play/roam and a rural or suburban type home is best. A traditional Fence is required. He would be best with dog savvy kids over 10yrs. They can be a stubborn breed, especially if mixed w/ Anatolian Shepherd. Livestock guardian experience or large breed ... (Read More)mountain dog experience will be required. They will definitely need an alpha owner. This is an already socialized, housebroken guy. He is being adopted through local animal control.
