Meet Lilly! Suurendered locally by the owners who were not able to care for her, she appears to be a Great Pyrenees Border Collie or Lab mix that's about 4 months old, weighs approx. 32 pounds, is up to date on all vaccinations, de-wormed, and will come with a spay voucher that will cover a portion of the procedure. She is very very friendly and can sit on command. We would bet she would love a fur-ever home and make anyone a great companion. Her adoption fee is $250. Her ID is DF1702007. An application is available by clicking on the following link http://www.robesonhumanesociety.org/images/Adoption_Application_2015.doc You can email it back to us at email@example.com, or fax it to 910-738-8685. All animals at RCHS are up to date on vaccinations, tested for Felv/Fiv, heart worm and treated if positive, de-wormed and spayed or neutered if over the age of 6 months. If they are younger than 6 months, the adopter receives a voucher that is good at any vet and covers a portion of the procedure. |Rescue Me ID: 17-02-25-00151Dakota (male)|
Dakota is a very sweet and very large Great Pyrenees/Lab mix. He is over 100 pounds and still growing! His approximate birthday is around the beginning of May 2016. He came from a local shelter last July after he was left behind when his 2 siblings were adopted. He has a great loving and loyal personality. He loves the kiddie pool so I think he would really enjoy swimming in a pond or creek. He is house and kennel trained. He does great with other dogs though may be intimidating to some due to his size. He is already neutered, utd on his shots and on heartworm preventatives. Adoption process includes filling out an application, a vet reference, possible home visit and signing a contract. Fee is $250. For more info email us at email@example.com. We put a lot of time and love into our fosters and our #1 concern is that they go to good forever homes that are perfect for each dog. (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 16-12-26-00384Bandit (male)|
Hello new friends! My name is Bandit. I was adopted from a high kill shelter a few years ago, and boy was I excited to get out of that place! Unfortunately, my new adopter had to keep me on a chain, but I did have a friend out in the yard, an older beagle. Just recently my beagle buddy passed away, and I became very sad and depressed, so my owner started to search for other options for me. That's when The Halfway House Animal Rescue stepped in! I now hear I'm on the search for my forever home! I'm an approximately 4-5 year old Great Pyrenees/Aussie mix. I'm a big boy at about 70 pounds, but I don't realize how big I am! I'm a big cuddle buddy. My rescue just recently took me to the vet, and I got a good bill of health! I'm up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, up to date on shots, dewormed, microchipped, and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. I get along well with other dogs, but I have not been around cats before. Because I am a big, active guy, my rescue is looking for an active walker/runner, or a fenced in back yard for me! Because I am an Aussie mix, I am very fast, so I will need to be leashed or in a fence for exercise. Please don't hesitate to contact my rescue today about meeting me! I sure cant wait to meet you, and I sure hope I have a family by Christmas, I've never had a tree and presents to open before, but I'm pretty sure I would like it. I may even help Santa Paws eat his cookies! Please email my foster mom at firstname.lastname@example.org! (Less)

|Animal ID: 0047Roqui (male)|
MEET ROQUI This beyond adorable boy is a 1 year old black and tan German Shepherd mix that came to us from the Downey Shelter in CA. This guy is tall, lanky and lean and a ton of fun. Those ears give Roqui quite the unique look and we think it is adorable. Roqui gets along well with other dogs and just loves to play. We believe he would do well going to Doggy Day Care or a dog park because he hangs out with anywhere from 3-5 other dogs here at the rescue. He would do better with dogs that are closer to his size than with smaller dogs because as a young boy, his play style is rough and tumble. This youngster loves toys and bones but doesn't like to share his bone. He will run, chase, wrestle and play tug with others. When he stands still for a minute, Roqui likes ear rubs and attention from his humans. Roqui would do well with a family that is active and looking for a companion who likes to hike, run and play. Roqui needs some work on his manners as he does jump up and is a bit mouthy, sometimes wanting to play by holding your hand in his mouth,n nothing a stable environment, time, attention and the proper training won't fix. We are working on manners to help him become the wonderful pup we know is there. Because of his lack of manners, young age and size, we would recommend a family with older children. A family that adopts him will be required to attend training classes for both his and their benefit. Roqui is UTD, microchipped, HW-, on flea/tick/HW preventative and neutered. Adoption Fee $350 If you are interested in adopting Roqui or any of the other JLGSR dogs, get the process started by filling out the online application at www.jettslegacy.com/adoption-application.html Note:. You must have an approved application on file prior to setting up a meet and greet. (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 15-09-02-00215Bella (female)|
My name is Bella. I am a 4 year old Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix. I am a sweet girl that loves attention from everyone. I have lived outside until I was taken in by Cliffords Army. I am doing fantastic on this housetraining thing. I am looking for an indoor home only. I am not the herding type. I love playing in the water and playing outside but would love to find a home where I can be inside and close to my new family. I would do best as the only dog as I crave all the attention and do not want to share my food, toys, or humans with other dogs. If you would like to consider adopting me, and let me show you all the love in the world, please fill out the attached on-line application. http://cliffordsarmy.pandaform.com/pub/xwtpyr/new (Less)

Great Pyrenees Dogs can make good pets in North Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Great Pyrenees is a huge, fluffy herding dog. Independent and protective, the Great Pyrenees is devoted to its family and somewhat stubborn. Great Pyrenees need to be socialized with children as puppies. This breed is an imposing guardian but is gentle unless threatened or provoked. Great Pyrenees need large yards and are best suited to cold climates. Great Pyrenees are affectionate toward non-canine pets, especially cats!
