Mother is Pyrenees father might have been neighbors Anatolian or large Shepard mix. Andy is the smaller a little more timid of the two. Will need some work around feeding needs to be separated could become an issue if left unchecked. Were born dark brown but now kinda a light ginger brown getting lighter everyday. Look alike Andy doesn't have as bright eyebrows and a smaller sweeter looking face. Need another round of shots and wormed again. Need potty training and leash training. Have been inside and ...     This gentle giant is very mild mannered with slight food aggression. We have had her since August and cannot keep her due to recent move and becoming a single parent. I hope to find her a good home were she can be loved. She has also shown aggravation towards little children playing with her. Very easy to walk and very intelligent knows basic commands.

Rescue Me ID: 14-09-21-00034Jughead (male)

Great Pyrenees Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Needs Vaccinations

Jughead is I'm guessing 12 months old. Fairly even tempered he basically wants to lounge around maybe occasionally a little tumble with another big dog. He is definitely a barker but not willing to confront the issue yet still young somewhat timid. He is mostly white with some brown coloring, has double dew claws, not sure what is in his background. He showed up on our property when he was 4-6 months old very skinny and with really bad fleas and raw spots from scratching. I gave him a couple rounds of shots but needs rabies and Neutered. When he was younger I gave him a couple baths but he resisits and now is too big for me to handle. His ... (Read More)sore spots are healed and his fur has grown in and has grown quite large built like a horse . He gets along great with my females (Great Pyrenees) mostly lays around lets them do guard duty waits at the house and barks. Plays and tumbles with my biggest female he is actually a lot taller and longer than she is so by the time he is full grown should be huge. Needs supervision around feeding time somewhat aggressive had a few tussles with a smaller male dog (no damage) but mostly respects older females. Needs another dog around does not like to be left alone will climb and dig to get out to you or friends. Good with chickens ducks goats cows. Sometimes play chases chickens and cats but gives up easily, too lazy I think. I am moving to smaller farm and can't have multiple giant lap dogs around. When smaller came in house through large cat door mostly slept but got into cat litter and trash can couple times. Was very sad day when he no longer could fit lots of whining and various attempts so he is quite flexible.Needs a person who has the time and ability to work with him on basic manners, he will make a very loyal companion and eventually a good guardian. Any other questions feel free to ask. (Less)
