Rescue Me ID: 13-05-13-00214Bella (female)

Great Pyrenees    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Bella is a female great pyreneese who just recently turned four years old. She is an extremely loveable, affectionate, intelligent dog but is just not happy having only our home and small fenced in yard to roam. We adopted her as a puppy from a farm where she was supposed to have guarded chickens and sheep, and that is the kind of dog she longs to be! This breed is meant to herd, and protect, and to have lots of space to roam. We had an appointment with the humane society on 5/13/13 at 5 PM but we just couldn't turn her in to them. Looking for someone familiar with this breed that will give her a loving home because she deserves it! She is ... (Read More)crate trained during the day when we're away, and is outdoors (weather permitting) the rest of the time except for bedtime when she sleeps in our room. She is on the smaller side for the breed - I'd say around 60 pounds. White with black facial markings. We can also discuss lowering the adoption fee if that is the only consideration. Thank you for considering our sweet dog! (Less)
