Rescue Me ID: 14-10-22-00648Artimis (female)
Artimis has gone through basic obedience. She is house broken, however she is still has a puppy attitude so if you don't want things chewed on or tempting trash scattered. We suggest putting those things up until self control is better. She is very sweet and docile. As gentle as a large dog can be, she hasn't realize that she's not a lap dog. She will certainly let you know if someone comes up to the house or yard. Artimis knows sit, down, but still rusty on her stay. She is also create trained. She will walk on a leash but not as well as she should. Someone who understands pinch collars and how to PROPERLY use them can correct this. A fenced in yard is a must, unless you are willing to walk her on a leash. She has enjoyed going on car rides, especially out to the woods where she can run freely with her dog buddies. Artimis is certainly a diamond in the rough. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-10-19-00259Buttons (male)
When Buttons and his friend, Zip, came into the rescue they were tired, skinny and ate up with fleas. They had been found in a drain pipe and had been there at least a week. Once they were treated for fleas, fed, wormed and bedded down, they slept almost a whole day. Since then they've been happy, healthy, growing little buddies. Buttons loves everyone. He has a blue eye and looks as though he may have a bone that was broke at one time on the side of his eye. He can see just fine.

Zip and his friend Buttons were found in a drain pipe and had been there over a week. When they came into the rescue, they were tired, hungry and full of fleas. They were treated, fed, bedded down, and they slept almost 24 hours. The little guys were just exhausted. They are now happy, healthy, growing puppies that love everyone and everything. Zip is very laid back and doesn't jump on anyone. He's very smart and could be trained very easily.

Rescue Me ID: 14-10-14-00341WeGo (female)
WeGo is 1/2 Great Pyrenees and 1/2 Pure Bred English Setter and she's a sweetie!!! She started out being my sons dog but he's gone off to college, and can't spend much time with her and mamma and I are trying to cut back on dogs. 10 horses and 6 purebred English Setters and a Maltese keep us busy. WeGo loves to protect the horses and is amazing around people and children. Would love to find her a forever home but if not... She's got one with us.

Rescue Me ID: 14-09-29-00312Cotton (female)
[Read About Natural Seizure Care] Cotton is a lovely husky mix in need of a good home. She has been an outside dog so far, but could be a wonderful indoor pet with some training. Though she is a husky/great pyrenees cross, she is not overly large - approximately 50 lbs and lean. She does have epilepsy, but her seizures are well-controlled with medication. She is too much for her current family to handle right now and needs a new family as soon as possible. Please consider this sweet special needs girl. I think she has the best disposition and would make a great companion.
