|Rescue Me ID: 17-12-05-00472Joe (male)|
Joe is the most beautiful and loving dog I know. I adopted him because of the Great Pyrenees mix as I was looking for a farm guardian to protect my land and other animals. Instead, I got a big, fast, powerful and determined hunter. He is amazing in action. His passion is hunting, and I believe he would be happiest with a coon hunter who would also treat him as a family pet. Because I love this dog and know what he needs, I will only re-home him to the right person or family. Please contact me to discuss.

|Rescue Me ID: 17-11-10-00538Daisy (female)|
Daisy is a Lab, Great Pyrenees cross that is estimated around 2 years old. Daisy was very skinny when she was found but luckily has figured out what a regular meal is and is putting on weight. Now that Daisy has found a loving home, she is learning how to be a dog again and not have to work for her resources. Due to her past, she does like routine and get nervous when her routine is changed. She was use to guarding her food with other dogs but within a week at her foster home she learned how to eat nicely around others. She is quite the lover and would be content cuddling on the couch with her human all day. She also does like to occasionally play with a toy or play fetch. She has met quite a few kids and has loved them all however she doesn't quite know her size and loves to lean. Daisy is learning how to live with dogs again where she doesn't have to guard her resources, and thus a home with an experienced owner would be recommended if she is to live with more than one dog. With a little work from her foster parents, Daisy has been living happily with her 2 foster siblings and has been in play groups with up to 5 other dogs and did fine. Daisy is curious about cats when they run but will completely ignore them when they are sleeping. She is crate trained, and very close to being fully potty trained, she knows basic commands like sit and down as well. She is spayed, heartworm negative, UTD on shots, chipped and kept on monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee is $250.
